nezchan: Me at my desk, gettin' busy (busy)
Well, not so much on the Scarry side of things as much as I love his books, but the busy side is there. Let's see what we have.

  • Third draft of the kitchen layout for Design class. Can't remember if it's due Wednesday, or if we're just going for a second round of critiques. Either way, I wanna get it as done as I can.
  • All keys, inbetweens and background for Animation class, also on Wednesday. Fortunately, there's only 17 drawings for the animation and I can recycle a bunch of frames, and it's a cube so I can rely on perspective for most of it, but I wanna make this tight. My goal is to exceed the 74% I got on the last assignment, even if it's only by a couple of points, and that's gonna take work.
  • First draft of the general store layout for Enviro class on Tuesday afternoon. Fortunately, it's not due until the 3rd, but I at least want to have something to work with. Need to re-do the floor grid, at the very least, the one I have is kinda crap.
  • Bottling wine tomorrow afternoon, so that's at least 2-3 hours out of my day. The nice part is, I'll have a decent stock of good quality wine to enjoy on the weekends. The last batch (a French merlot) is about 3 1/2 months old now, and an absolute joy to drink. I've set a few bottles aside to try when they're a year old, and I'll be doing the same with this batch. Cheaper wine, far better quality, and the enjoyable experience of bottling it myself? Sold!
  • The usual sorts of little chores, laundry, etc. that take up a weekend. Schoolwork takes priority, though.

Pretty sure I can get through all that without much trouble. Add to that my intention to watch one quality live-action movie a week (this week, Kurosawa's Ran) and one animated movie (Iron Giant), and you've pretty much got a weekend planned. Mostly at the drawing desk.

I tell you, at this rate if I'm not ten times the artist in April that I was in September, I'll be very surprised.
